Add a rule

Create and add a rule to show on Dashboards.

  1. Go to Configuration > Administration> Rules.
  2. Click New. The Details tab displays.
  3. Enter the rule’s Name, Type, and Description.
  4. Click Apply when done to create the rule.
  5. To assign the rule to all users, click on Assign to All Users.
  6. To assign the rule to all services, click on Assign to All Services.
  7. Click Thresholds.
  8. Set the thresholds.
  9. Click Apply when done.

To assign a rule to a group:

  1. Select the Assignees Management tab.
  2. If the rule applies only to certain groups or types, make your selections.
  3. Check off the services for which the rule should be assigned.
  4. Click Apply to save.
